Description: Fintastic Festival featuring puppet shows by Assateague Island National Seashore, Aquarium Talk and all day Touch Tank by Marine Consortium of Virginia, dive shows, aquatic animal presentations, local artisans, face painting and crafts.

DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Game :
Location: University of Delaware Stadium, Newark, DE
Description: The 58th Annual DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game will be June 22nd at the University of DE Stadium and features football players representing one of 47 participating high schools in Delaware. All proceeds from the event go to programs that benefit those with intellectual disABILITIES.

Marylandís Commitment to Veterans:
Marylandís Commitment to Veterans operates a toll free confidential helpline that offers 24-access to referrals, information, and direct assistance to those whoíve served our country. Whether itís jobs, housing, counseling, transportation, or just cutting through the red tape to get the VA benefits they so deserve, this program, run by the Maryland state department of health and mental hygiene, is vital to support the transition of our veterans back into civilian life. OPERATION WE CARE now thru May :
Operation We Care is gearing up for its next major packing event in May and needs your help. The plan is to pack and ship approximately 500 care packages to the troops including several hundred from the Maryland/Delaware region.
Items needed are snack items like granola bars, poptarts and microwave popcorn. Also included are toiletries like bar soap, shampoo and body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Any financial donations will be used to cover the cost of postage which exceeds $10,000 per year.
Based in Salisbury, Operation We Care has shipped more than 3,000 care packages since it began in 2007 and is a 501c/3 organization. Donations are currently accepted at Minuteman Press, 1008 S. Salisbury Blvd. in Salisbury and Harley-Davidson of Seaford, 22586 Sussex Hwy. in Seaford.
